I use my lived experience as a disabled producer to help us all create a more accessible, equitable and creative industry

Training

Bespoke training designed for how you work

Every training session I deliver is different, because I work with you to understand your processes, priorities and level of confidence on disability.

The foundation of each training session ensures you understand the why, and empowers you and your team to put access into action well beyond our time together. This includes:

  • The Equality Act 2010

  • The Social Model of Disability

  • Language

  • Staying up-to-date with the commitments broadcasters have made, including learning how to incorporate the TV Access Project’s 5as into your workplace and production

I have designed and delivered training which covers:

  • Casting and filming with disabled contributors

  • Accessible comms and social media

  • Hiring and working with disabled talent

  • Event accessibility

  • Management essentials

I love creating engaging, interactive and informative sessions that inspire every member of the team.

  • We’re hugely appreciative of the sessions Eli recently ran for us at Paramount. Eli is an engaging and supportive trainer and the discussions the training allowed us to have, were very helpful and enlightening. It is important for us to continually re-evaluate our – and our production partners – ways of working.
